Levi’s® Stadium and the San Francisco 49ers SAP Performance Facility will be the site of a 4.9K endurance event and “The Challenge”, the ultimate test of physical aptitude, on Saturday, November 8. The event will serve as the launch of a 49ers organizational initiative to motivate fans to engage in physical fitness by giving them the experience of training like the members of the 49ers roster. Registration closes on Thursday, November 6, and is limited to 5,000 registrants.

Those interested can participate in either the 4.9K stadium run or “The Challenge”, or both. The 4.9K stadium run will take place inside Levi’s® Stadium and the adjacent SAP Performance Facility, featuring light stair and ramp challenges. “The Challenge” will be a thorough test of physical endurance, requiring participants to cover a 4.9K course with the added challenges of conquering hundreds of stairs and ramps, along with sprints, high steps through bungees, combine drills and padded gauntlets in the process. The finish line for both events will on the field within Levi’s® Stadium.

Each participant will receive a 49ers Rush t-shirt and a finisher’s medallion. “The Challenge” participants will also receive an additional prize to be unveiled, fitting of the toughest team members. Awards will be provided to the overall top-3 male and female finishers in each event. Both activities will come to a close with a triumphant finish on the field at Levi’s® Stadium.

Guests can purchase tickets and find out more information on the event at The first sets of tickets went on September 18 and will be available through October 31. Registration for the 4.9K event starts at $49 and will increase to $59 between November 1 and November 6. “The Challenge” event registration starts at $149 from September 18 to October 31 and will increase to $169 between November 1 and November 6.

The minimum age requirement to enter the 4.9K stadium run is six years old, while prospective participants for “The Challenge” must be 14 years or older. Any questions or inquiries can be directed to
