Stadium Update for Today’s 49ers Game

Sunday, August 24, 2014

We would like to extend our best wishes to all of our neighbors, family and friends affected by this morning’s earthquake.

Today’s 49ers game at Levi’s® Stadium will be played as scheduled.

Levi’s® Stadium was designed to meet California seismic code requirements and seismic bracing was incorporated into the design and construction. Building engineers have walked the entire stadium and we have had no reported damage. We will continue to do so throughout the day.

In terms of trains servicing the stadium, we have been advised that all tracks have been shut down within a 100-mile radius of Napa until further notice, therefore affecting the ACE and Capitol Corridor service to the stadium. ACE would normally carry upwards of 500 passengers to our game. Capitol Corridor carries approximately 750 fans. We remain in communication with these agencies. Caltrain and VTA are operating as scheduled at this time.
