Nelson Ferreira is in his eighth season with the San Francisco 49ers and serves as Vice President, Stadium & Event Operations. Nelson is responsible for the management of stadium and event operations. This includes oversight of logistics, guest services, event operations and technical services.
While Nelson’s priority is to execute world class events; his duty is to serve 49ers staff, partners and fan base with the highest level of integrity and satisfaction. This includes providing memorable experiences for guests attending football games, soccer games, concerts and all events.
Nelson has been involved in managing such events as Super Bowl 50, WrestleMania 31, Copa America Centenario, 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship and many concerts.
Previously, Nelson served as Director, Technical Operations, overseeing Project Management and Technical Operations at Levi’s Stadium. Prior to working with the San Francisco 49ers, Nelson consulted with the San Francisco Giants managing their broadcast engineering and operations. Nelson was a broadcast integration specialist with Yahoo Sports.
Nelson holds a B.A. in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts with honors from San Francisco State University.
Nelson grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently resides in San Francisco.
