Nelson Ferreira currently serves as Vice President of Stadium and Event Operations for Levi’s
Stadium, marking his 12th season with the organization. An operational leader, Nelson is
responsible for overseeing a wide range of critical functions for NFL and Levi’s Stadium events,
including event operations, project management, technical operations, engineering, and
day-to-day operations.
Ferreira emphasizes maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and ensuring
exceptional experiences for all guests. His commitment to integrity and customer satisfaction
guarantees unforgettable moments for 49ers fans and Levi’s Stadium attendees during every
event. Furthermore, Ferreira is leading many of the preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup
and Super Bowl 60, including being part of the team responsible for carrying out the $200M
Levi’s Stadium renovation project.
Throughout his career, Ferreira has successfully managed numerous prestigious events such
as the Super Bowl, World Series, WrestleMania, Copa America, College Football Playoff
National Championship Game, and sensational concerts featuring renowned global superstars.
Ferreira was previously director of technical operations at Levi’s Stadium, where he supervised
project management and broadcast operations. He also provided consulting services for the
San Francisco Giants, overseeing broadcast engineering and operations projects for 11
seasons. Additionally, Ferreira worked as a broadcast integration specialist at Yahoo Sports.
Ferreira’s educational background includes a B.A. in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts
with honors from San Francisco State University. Having spent his formative years in San
Francisco, he currently resides in Los Gatos.
