Harpreet Basran is in her ninth season with the 49ers and currently serves as the vice president, human resources.  In her role, she manages the human resources department, which handles all aspects of the employee life cycle including employee relations, benefits administration, compensation analysis, onboarding, employee engagement, and diversity, equity & inclusion for the team and the stadium management company.  

Basran initially joined the 49ers as a human resources generalist in 2013, and held positions of increasing responsibility during her tenure with the franchise. 

Before joining the 49ers, Basran was with Foster Farms where she managed employee relations at one of the manufacturing plants in Fresno, CA.   

Basran is originally from Turlock, CA, and received her BS in Business Administration and MBA from California State University, Stanislaus. She now resides in San Jose, CA.
