CFB Week 3 Recap

Week 3 showcased plenty of top-tier matchups for the Pac-12 and the Big Ten. This week, both conferences gear up for conference play. Let’s take a look back at how the Pac-12 and Big Ten teams faired in an action packed weekend.

Rutgers running back Robert Martin totaled 169 yards and one touchdown to lead the Scarlet Knights to victory.

Hawkeye quarterback C.J. Beathard accounted for three touchdowns, but a last second field goal by the Bison was the difference.

Jabrill Pepper’s 54-yard punt return touchdown put the exclamation point on the come-from-behind victory over the Buffaloes.

In the second of two Pac-12 vs. Big Ten matchups, Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. scored the winning touchdown with 2:29 left to upset Oregon.

Cougar quarterback Luke Falk threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Cougars to their first victory of the 2016 season.

Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley had a career day leading the Nittany Lions to victory.

Tyrell Pigrome’s 24-yard run in the second overtime won the game for the Terrapins.
