2014 PAC-12 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP AT LEVI’S® STADIUM SET TO FEATURE OREGON AGAINST ARIZONA

Monday, December 1, 2014

The match-up is set for the inaugural Pac-12 Football Championship Game at Levi’s® Stadium as current-No. 2 Oregon (11-1 overall, 8-1 Pac-12) will meet current-No. 11 Arizona (10-2, 7-2). Arizona clinched the South Division title on Friday with a 42-35 win over Arizona State. Oregon had previously locked up the North Division and finished its regular season on Saturday with a 47-19 victory over Oregon State.

The Pac-12 Championship Game will be held at 6:00 p.m. PT on Friday, December 5. Tickets are currently available at www.Pac-12.com/tickets. Additional game information is available at www.LevisStadium.com. Media looking to request credentials to cover the game need to apply at www.sportssystems.com/Pac-12 before Sunday at 6:00 p.m. PT.

With Arizona earning its place in the game, the stage is set for a noteworthy re-match from earlier this season when the Wildcats handed the Ducks their only loss of the season, 31-24, on October 2 at Oregon. In this meeting, the Ducks need a win over the Wildcats to preserve their position in the inaugural College Football Playoff. The game will mark Oregon’s second time playing at Levi’s® Stadium this year, following a 59-41 victory over California on October 24.
